Hyderabad, January 25: (Siasat News) Online submission of pre-matric and post matric scholarship applications has deprived more than one lakh students. Last year, in addition to online, offline submission was also permitted by the Govt. Last year 3.5 lakh applications were received but his year only two lakh candidates have applied for scholarships. In this way many students who could not register their applications online will be deprived of state scholarships.
If the Dept. of Minorities Welfare extends the last date of submission of applications, as many as two lakh more students will be benefited. In these circumstances, the Govt. is requested to extend the date of submission by fifteen days to benefit a large number of poor minority students.
