Cyberabad, August 13: One worker was killed and five others were injured in a gas cylinder blast at a chemical factory at Haveli near here, police said today.
The mishap occurred when a nitrogen cylinder exploded during its refilling by the workers at a platform in the factory last night.
Police said they were investigating whether the factory management had complied with the safety norms applicable to the unit, located about 20 km from here.
