Ghazipur, June 14: One person was killed and a dozen others injured when a jeep in which they were travelling rammed into a tree, police said here today. Ramayan Prasad Mishra (73) was killed when the jeep, carrying pilgrims from Bihar, rammed into the tree near Mardaha Bazar last evening, they said.
The incident occurred while the pilgrims were on their way to Vindhyachal, police said, adding that the injured were admitted to the district hospital in Mau.
