One killed, 41 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar, March 01: One person was killed and 41 others, including nine army personnel, were injured in three separate road mishaps in Kashmir Valley today, a police spokesman said.

Nine soldiers were injured when the Army vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Drooru, 47 kms from here, they said.

In a separate incident, Pattan resident Nisar Ahmad Gojri was killed and two others “critically” injured when a mini-bus they were travelling in collided with a cab at Kanispora, 30 kms from here, on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway.

In another mishap, six passengers were injured when their mini-bus turned turtle at Rangar near Saida Kadal on the outskirts of Srinagar city.
