Roopnagar: One person was injured in firing by a group of five persons at the government college premises here today afternoon, the police said.
Five persons came on motorcycles to the college here and opened fire on two youths, they said.
Chanpreet Singh, resident of village Bhaowal sustained a bullet injury while his friend escaped unhurt. Singh was admitted to the civil hospital here.
The attack could be the result of personal enmity, the police said.
SSP Raj Bachan Singh Sandhu said that a case has been registered and two of the accused have been identified.
The case is being investigated, he said.
