One held with 2.96 lakh Indian fake currency

West Zone Team apprehended one accused person Hafeezur Rahaman Chowdary (36) a Running Internet styled as Shelter Cyber Zone, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai S/o Aziz Rahaman Chowdary R/o Plot No.204, Sector-5, Ghansoli of Navi Mumbai. who was exchanging Fake Indian currency Notes in the denomination of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 and seized Rs.2,96,500 fake Indian currency notes and one cell phones from his possession, and one person Kajirul R/o Calcutta was absconding.

The accused Hafeezur Rahaman Chowdary is native of Murshidabad of West Bengal State. After his marriage he was shifted to Hyderabad and staying at Kishanbag along with his wife and he had done Air cooler and cloths works in Hyderabad. In the month of May-2013 he was arrested by Task Force Police while exchanging of Fake currency at Asif Nagar PS limits. After releasing from jail he was shifted his family to Navi Mumbai from Hyderabad. Fifteen days back he went to Calcutta and procured Rs.3,00,000 fake currency notes from one of his friend by name Kajirul, R/o Calcutta by paying him Rs. 1,50,000 genuine money. On April 27, 2014 he came to Hyderabad with fake currency to exchange Rs. 60,000 per 1 Lakh, on the way to Hyderabad he exchanged Rs. 3,500 fake currency in various shops.

On April 28, 2014 while the accused person was trying to exchange the fake notes in front of Yousufian Dargha, Habeeb Nagar, Hyd, the Task force team apprehended him and recovered Rs.2,96,500 fake notes, Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 denomination from the possession of the accused person.

The arrested accused person along with recovered property was handed over to S.H.O, Habeeb Nagar PS for further action. Efforts are going on to apprehend the Absconding accused person.
