Bhusawal, February 16:An elderly woman died in a wall collapse here following a gas cylinder explosion in her house, police said.
The incident took place yesterday when the gas cylinder burst while she was cooking dinner. The explosion led to the collapse killing Sindhubai (71) on the spot and injuring other family members, they said.
Hearing cries for help, neighbours gathered on the spot and informed the police following which her body was extricated from the debris around 9.30 pm, police added.
