Mumbai, August 15: Om Puri is apparently quite upset about a large part of his role being cut out from the film Dabangg. And director Abhinav Kashyap agreed that the actor was indeed upset but he could hardly help the situation.
“It is true that we did chop off lot of Om ji’s portion but that is for the film. Whenever we have to make the film better someone will have to sacrifices. This time it was Omji’s role,” says Abhinav.
“Omji was a little upset but we talked it out. It is for the good of the film. We are not here to make films to please someone personally,” he adds. Dabangg releases on September 10.
