Omer Jaleel urges Muslim minority students to avail govt. schemes

Muslim population in Hyderabad is 25 to 30 lakh but only 30 thousand scholarship applications have been received from Muslim minority students. They don’t avail government schemes. These views were expressed by Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel IAS secretary Minority Welfare Department Andhra Pradesh at a function held here at Urdu Ghar Moghalpura. He further said that he will provide free IAS, Civil Service and Group I coaching to Muslim minority students through Minority Welfare Department.

Urging students to attain education he gave the example of APJ Abdul Kalam who belonged to poor family, attained education and later became president of India.

Dr. Hasanuddin Ahmed IAS (retd.) during his presidential address advised the students to work hard and avail the schemes provided by the government.

The function was organised by Deccan Federation of Private Schools.
