Special Secretary Minority Welfare Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel said that he will take measures to ensure implementation of schemes related to Minority Welfare before the end of current financial year. His top priority would be to implement schemes like scholarship and fee-reimbursement to minority students and subsidy scheme of Minority Finance Corporation besides Shaadi Mubarak Scheme. He has decided to approach government in connection with lack of staff and recruitment of permanent officers in Minority Welfare Department.
Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel assumed his office on Friday at secretariat. He convened a meeting with Director Minority Welfare Mr. Jalaluddin Akber and Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation Prof. S A Shukoor and other officers of the department.
