Omar promises help to SKIMS

Srinagar, May 12: Emphasizing on upgradation and modernization of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said his government would render every help to relieve the patients from travelling outside the state.

“The purpose of the institution is to relieve the patients from travelling outside the state for specialised treatment has to be fulfilled to its optimum by modernizing and upgrading facilities in various medicare areas and faculties,” Omar said chairing the 33rd meeting of the governing body of SKIMS here.

He said the trust people repose in SKIMS for advanced and quality treatment need to be further cemented by the meticulous health care service rendered to them by the doctors and para medical staff.
