Omar discusses cross-border infiltration with Governor

Jammu, April 07: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today discussed cross-border infiltration and security situation in the state with Governor N N Vohra.

Abdullah met the governor at Raj Bhavan this evening and discussed the state’s overall security situation, particularly the significant rise in cross-border infiltration in the recent months this year, an official spokesman said.

The governor was also informed about various other issues and briefed about the implementation of important power and development projects, welfare schemes and measures being taken to ensure time-bound completion of these projects.

The meeting lasted for over an hour.
