Srinagar, Sept. 4 : Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah on Friday accused the Mufti Mohammed Sayeed-led People’ Democratic Party (PDP) -Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of spying on him.
In a series of tweets, Omar stated that a journalist interviewing him was stopped and questioned allegedly by the CID.
“Mufti Govt brazenly spying on me. A journalist interviewing me for a national daily just got stopped right outside my gate by a CID person,” he tweeted.
“She was asked who she was & what the purpose of her visit was! Seriously guys if you want to know just ask me, I couldn’t care less if U do,” he said in another tweet.
Omar further said that if the ruling PDP government wants to know what he was up to, then they should ask him.
“Dear Mufti Sb if you & your apparatchiks want to know what I’m up to pick up the phone & ask me. Please don’t accost people outside my gate!,” he stated in a tweet. (ANI)
