Srinagar: A day after school bus in Gurugram was attacked by the hooligans protesting against the movie Padmaavat, the former J&K Chief Minister tweeted that why the Karni sena goons aren’t being tied to the jeeps and paraded in front of school buses and cinema halls as human shields.
Why aren’t Karni Sena goons being tied to the front of jeeps & paraded in front of school buses & cinema halls? Isn’t that a much lauded crowd control measure?

According to the news reported in Times of India, his remark was in reference to the human shield controversy of Jammu and Kashmir in which a stone-pelter was tied to the bonnet of the army jeep by an officer to escape from the area unscathed.
Omar Abdullah questioned that why the same mob control measure was not being adopted in the case of Karni sena goons who are creating the law and order problem and damaging the public property.
Last year a video of Army officer, Major Nitin Leetul Gogoi, who tied a stone pelter to the jeep went viral in the valley and created a huge controversy. That officer was also awarded for his work in the counter-insurgency operations.
