A 45-year-old woman died after falling in an open drain in Pahadi Shareef area.
The victim, Ameerunnissa Begum, of Talab Katta, had went to Khaja Nagar of Pahadi Shareef to meet her sister. However, she slipped into an open drain in the area. The local residents tried in vain to rescue her and also informed the police. A few hours later, the police retrieved her body from the drain. (INN)
