Old city foresees a new revolution because of MIM’s possible alternative

For the first time Congress has entered into fray with its full might against MIM in GHMC elections. This has unnerved MIM leadership. Congress remained in power for years in united Andhra Pradesh. During the period both the parties were allies. Both gained due to each others support, according to Prof. Nageshwar Rao.

But now both the parties are contesting as rivals for the first time in ensuing GHMC elections. Congress leaders are taking a dig at their former ally on frequent intervals. TPCC president Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy, leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative council Mohammed Ali Shabbir and long-time MIM leader who recently joined Congress are running campaign against MIM with full intensity.

Congress with astuteness has tried to become an alternative against MIM. If it succeeds in its efforts, a new political revolution can be expected in old city.
