Hyderabad: Ola cabs, autos, two-wheelers will provide data to concerned government departments which monitors road conditions and maintain quality of the roads.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, on Monday, Ola signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with State Government in the presence of Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT).
The goal of the initiative is to reduce accidents due to potholes, monitor the quality of road construction, and priorities road repair budget.
Expressing his views on the MoU, Mr. Sandeep Upadhyay, Regional Head at Ola said that the initiative will be useful to the government as the data gathered by Ola cars, auto, two-wheeler can be used to provide better infrastructure to improve traffic management.
