LIVERPOOL: India’s biggest online transport service OLA has extended its service to the UK. Ola autos will now be available in Merseyside and will be called tuk-tuk. According to the Managing Director of Ola Uk, 500 drivers have already been appointed to carry out the transport service in Liverpool. The Managing Director himself has been driving passengers around the city, says Liverpoolecho.
The company aims to top its biggest rival Uber in every aspect. They claim to pay more than Uber does to their drivers. Reportedly, rides on the launch day were free which was 22nd of March 2019.
