An Oil truck crashed into a concrete flyover and exploded on Thursday in Riyadh. 14 people reportedly killed and at least 60 other injured.
According to a report published on Al-Arabiya, the accident had occurred at a junction on Khurays Road, one of the Riyadh’s main arteries and that the blast damaged neighboring houses and cars.
An AFP photographer who were there at the scene said that huge damage in the area with dozens of cars burned. He said he saw civil defence personnel carrying two bodies “completely charred.”
Matrafi said civil defense teams controlled the fire resulting from the incident.
There was no immediate suspicion of terrorist links based on witness accounts,
Based on the witness accounts, the suspicion of terror links ruled out, it suggested the fuel tanker exploded in a traffic accident under a bridge.
