Officials being transferred for political gains: PDP

Jammu, June 16: Opposition PDP in Jammu and Kashmir today accused the ruling NC-Congress coalition of transferring officials “for petty political gains” and claimed that it has affected the development works in the state.

“…in the NC-led coalition government, ministers are known for their obsession for frequent shifting of officers from one place to another,” senior PDP leader and MLA Choudhary Zulfikar said addressing a public meeting in his Assembly segment of Darhal in Rajouri district.

“The ministers have been transferring officers for their petty political and personal gains. Most of the development works have come to a standstill as officers are not sure whether they will remain on the same post in the next month or not,” he said.
