Accusing the Kamalanathan Committee of adopting double standards for delaying bifurcation of officials, TRS MLA Srinivas Goud today said they will make it to the Centre to find a speedy solution if the former failed to respond in two weeks.
Speaking to the media at Secretariat here after calling on Kamalanathan Committee along with Telangana Secretariat Employees’ Association leaders, the TRS MLA alleged that the committee was making deliberate attempts to delay the bifurcation of officials. Setting a 15-day deadline, Goud demanded that the Committee expedite the process, else they would complain to the Centre. He also suspected that Kamalanathan was doing so at the behest of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He charged that Chandrababu does not want a speedy solution to the pending issue of the bifurcation of the officials.
The delay was showing an adverse impact on the government, he said. However, the employees will make it to the Centre for a speedy bifurcation, he said. Stating that the Kamalanathan Committee collected the details of only 33 departments, he asked it to take the information related to the rest. He said the TRS Government was with the employees as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has promised to fill many posts after the bifurcation, he added. (NSS)
