Finance Minister Eatala Rajender on Friday admitted that the goof-up by the State Government officials delayed the transfer of 24 acre land to Exhibition Society.
Speaking to media persons after the inauguration of ‘Numayesh’, Eatala said following Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s assurance during the inauguration of Exhibition last year, the process was initiated to transfer the land to Exhibition Society. However, when the process reached the stage of issuing a GO, it was learnt that the land was owned by R&B Department and not the Revenue Department. Following this revelation, the files were re-processed.
Eatala said that the process of land transfer would be completed in the next 15-20 days. He also informed that the Exhibition Society would start a residential school for orphans in Karimnagar soon. (INN)
