Officers of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will go on mass casual leave on February 28 in protest against what they termed the anti-farmer, anti-organisational and anti-officers policies of the bank.
The represenatives is on agitational path for the past six months in support of four demands including immediate appointment of the Managing Director as the post was laying vacant for the past 10 months and stoppage of recruitment of officers in Grade ‘B’ (manager) and higher levels, National Bank Officers’ Association Secretary T V Narasimha Rao said in a release here today. Intensifying the agitational programme, the Association proposed to undertake launch hour demonostration on February 27 and avail Mass casual leave on Feburary 28, the release added. UNI
