Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today said the State government would get good name if the police department offers better services to the people by adopting modern technology. “Our aim is to transform Hyderabad into a global and smart city sans crime in future”, he maintained.
Inaugurating a modernized police station at Musheerabad here on Thursday, the Home Minister said police personnel have to live up to the expectations of the government which do not want to invite wrath from the public. The police should maintain cordial relations with the people and they should not face problems at the police stations, he noted. The government will modernize all police stations in the twin cities to offer better services, he said and appealed to the people to cooperate with the police to bring down crime rate in the State.
