Hyderabad, November 15: It seems that the communal forces are geared up to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city. A spate of attacks on Muslim youth and women in the city is the example of this. Muslims of Nawabpet are socially boycotted. Warnings are given blatantly to obstruct the construction of mosque there. Muslims are publicly threatened by the miscreants to stop the construction of mosque on waqf land at Palmamadi village of Nawabpet mandal at Viqarabad, Rangareddy district.
Besides all these, miscreants have installed a 10×10 hoarding at the uninhabited Aalamgir mosque at Adibatla in a village near Nadirgul which has created unrest among the Muslims. There are only a few Muslims houses in the area. On one side prayer in the mosque is not allowed on the other they are hurting Muslim sentiments by installing such a big hoarding on the mosque.
Police remains a mute spectator which encourages the unscrupulous elements.
Waqf board should visit the mosque immediately and white wash it besides setting up fence around it.
It also needs to be investigated who is the mastermind behind this conspiracy who is contaminating the minds of innocent non Muslim brethren in the city as well as in Rangareddy district. It is better late than never. If the police arrests the handful of miscreants immediately it would help in retaining the peaceful atmosphere of the state.
