Hyderabad, October 30: National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against suspected activist of Lashkar-e-Taiba Mohammed Zia-ul-Haq and a Pakistani citizen Abu Rehan alias Wali accused in the Odeon theatre bomb blast case of May 7 2006, in the court of Metropolitan session judge at Nampally.
Both of them were planning to execute an attack on crowded place of Hyderabad when Zia-ul-Haq was arrested on May 3 2010 from Anmol Hotel Kumarwadi while Abu Rehan Wali is still absconding.
It was revealed during NIA investigations that Zia-ul-Haq got friendship with a Pakistani handler Abu Rehan Wali who was an activist of terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, and got involved in the conspiracy to wage war against India.
He was arrested while planning to execute terrorist attacks in Hyderabad on the instructions of Abu Rehan Wali.
The Pakistani suspects include Muzammil, Abu Zubair, Abu Ali, Mehmood Bhai, Abdul Rehman Makki, Rafee, Zaki-ur- Rehman Lakhvi, Abu Sayeed, Abu Zar, Nasar Javed, Abu Hafiz and Iftekhar. A Bangladeshi suspect Shaheedul Islam’s name also figures in the chargesheet. However, they are yet to be traced and the investigation is under progress.
