A delegation of Jamiatul Quraish led by Mr. Mohammed Saleem, MLC (TRS) met the CM of Telangana State Mr. KCR and complaint that under the pretext of protection of cow slaughter, some miscreants are obstructing the transportation of big animals which is illegal. He clarified that Bullocks and Buffalos are being transported since there is a complete ban on cow slaughter. He alleged that police is encouraging these miscreants.
Mr. KCR immediately instructed the DGP Mr. Anurag Sharma for issuing suitable instructions for not obstructing the transportation of big animals to avoid any inconvenience to Muslims who offer animal sacrifices on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The delegation of Jamiatul Quraish met the DGP and requested him to instruct the staff posted at check posts to stop the illegal activities of the miscreants.
