Mumbai/Ahmedabad/Shajapur, December 15: India TV in its daily primetime ACP Arjun show on Wednesday night telecasted three incidents where blackmailers forced women to pay up after they made obscene MMS of the sex acts.
The Meghwadi police in Mumbai arrested two persons, Paresh Pure and Avinash Sawant, after a Class XI girl student told her father that two of her friends had been blackmailing her for the last one year by making obscene MMS.
Pure and Sawant were nabbed from Indira Nagar, Jogeshwari and the court sent them to judicial custody.
The victim told police that she had struck friendship with the two and they had made an obscene MMS of the sex act after which she was being forced to undergo sexual blackmail. A third person is absconding.
In Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, an auxiliary nurse midwife in a government hospital was taken to a lonely place six months ago by one Raja Khan and two of his friends, who raped her and filmed the obscene MMS.
They later blackmailed her and extracted money from her, after which she reported the matter to the police. All three have been arrested.
In Ahmedabad, a multiplex supervisor Manoj Ghumadia was arrested by police after he blackmailed a housewife by first engaging in sexual acts with her and then making obscene MMS.
27-year-old Manoj threatened the lady of circulating her MMS and extracted Rs 90,000 from her. It was when he demanded that she should marry her, the lady revealed the matter to her husband, who, in turn, informed the police.
Manoj Ghumadia worked as supervisor in Himalaya Mall here, where the lady used to go see films in the cine multiplex. It was there that he struck friendship with her.
