OBC/BCE certificates imperative for poor Syeds, Pathans and Moghals

Muslims in India lag behind in every field. Since the country cannot be led to the path of development without changing the condition of Muslims, government cleverly divided Muslims into groups and selected factions which are very backward. It must be noted that some sects of Muslims have been recognized as OBC in the constitution of India. On this basis 14 sects of Muslims have been included in OBC. Syed Shaikh, Moghal, Pathan, Irani Arab, Bohera, Shia imami, Ismaili Khoja, Kachi Maimon, etc are not included in economically backward or other backward classes, though 95 percent Muslims are living below poverty line. The fact is economic backwardness also prevail among Syed, Shaikh, Moghal, Pathan, Irani Arab, Bohra, Shia imami, Ismaili Khoja, Kutchi Memon. In this scenario Syed, Shaikh, Moghal, Pathan etc must also be included in OBC and BCE category.

Mohammed Amanullah Khan who is Khan by title (khitabi Pathan) told that he ran from pillar to post to get OBC certificate but he was told that OBC, BCE certificate can’t be issued to the person whose surname is Khan.

Shaikh Abdul Mubarak resident of Bahadurpura could not get OBC or BCE certificate because he is Shaikh. Mrs. Syed Khatija told that she is Syed but is economically very poor but she can’t obtain OBC certificate for her children. As a result most of the economically poor Muslims have lost the possibilities of getting admission into professional courses or obtain jobs.

In this scenario if deputy chief minister and revenue minister Mr. Mahmood Ali succeeds in convincing KCR that Syed, Shaikh, Moghal, Pathan etc can also be included in OBC and BCE category, this will be his greatest achievement.
