A female audience at an event approached US President Barack Obama and said she was born at the same hospital as him in Hawaii. He responded: “Do you have YOUR birth certificate?”
The interaction in Oklahoma Thursday was captured by Fox News correspondent Ed Henry, who tweeted the little story to his followers, the Daily Mail reported.
Henry and Obama have had a number of run-ins in the past, when the conservative journalist has gone after some of the Democratic president’s policies.
Most recently, Henry asked Obama if he was trying to make the price of oil go up on purpose as a part of his re-election campaign strategy.
It is unusual to see Obama bring up the issue of his birth certificate as he knows it is fodder to the vast number of birth conspiracy theorist who continue to bring the topic up in press conferences, the newspaper added.
