Obama to conclude Kenya visit with speech on ‘human rights, shared values’

London, July 26 : U.S. President Barack Obama will wrap up his visit to Kenya with a televised address at a sports stadium in the capital city of Nairobi.

According to the BBC, the president is expected to underscore the shared values between the two countries while touching upon human rights.

The Kasarani stadium, where the U.S. president will make his speech, saw the controversial detention of hundreds of Somalis last year during an operation against the Islamist group Al Shabab.

President Obama is scheduled to fly to Ethiopia later on Sunday.

The trip, which began on Friday, is Obama’s first visit as president to the country where his father was born. (ANI)
