Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Bangalore, gave Mr. Obaidur Rahman and other Muslim youths in police custody for 14 days. The Central Crime Branch of Bangalore police pleaded that it has to investigate further. He may be required to go to AP for further probe. Bangalore police gave hints that on the information furnished by Obairur Rahman and his companions further arrests are possible. The pleader of Mr. Obaidur Rahman Mr. Anees was not given an opportunity to oppose the police for giving him in police custody.
It is said that Bangalore Police may bring Obaid to Hyderabad for further investigations.
