O.U. students commence 24-hour hunger strike

Hyderabad: Against the failure of Govt. of Telangana in resolving various issues pertaining to the students and teachers of various universities in Telangana, the students of Osmania University started 24-hour hunger strike yesterday near Art College.

Various political leaders and social activists reached the O.U. campus and extended their support to the students.

The students of Osmania University commenced their hunger strike under the stewardship of Ch. Dayakar. The student leaders alleged that many posts of the teachers remain vacant in various universities of the state.
