Hyderabad: While talking to newsmen yesterday, Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao recalled the old memories and said that when he was elected MLA for the first time, a Muslim Revenue Divisional Officer, by name Mr. Ahmed Ali had told him that those who fast and those who arrange Iftaar Party, both would get virtues. At that time, Mr. KCR had arranged Iftaar Party with the then corporator, Mr. Farooq Husain at Iqbal Minar in Siddipet. Mr. Abid Ali Khan, founder Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily came to Siddipet at his invitation to attend Iftar Party. He was overwhelmed with joy and apprised Mr. NTR about Mr. KCR’s Iftar Party and suggested to him for arranging Iftar party at official level. In this manner, Mr. NTR started hosting Iftaar Parties at official levels.
