New Delhi: A boiler blast in NTPC Power Plant in Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh has nearly killed four people while injuring nearly 100 people reported the officials.
According to top officials, the number of dead persons, as well as injured persons, could rise. The injured persons are beleived to have suffered burns.
Sources report that boiler pipe which was around 30 years old has burst in the power generating unit plant in Unchahar.
The plant was started back in 1988 with five units of 210 MW each.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath has issued directions to the Principal Secretary Home to ensure all the rescue and relief operations.
