New Delhi, Aug 6 : Defence expert Rahul Jalali on Thursday said that the forthcoming National Security Advisory (NSA) level meetings would be very crucial, as India would be able to present all the evidences it finds during the interrogation.
“Pakistan have got their head buried in sand. But they will have to raise it up because they have got someone who has been captured by Indian civilians…As more and more information comes out, it is clear today that this man belonged to Faislabad and he is a resident from there. He was a part of a political Lashkar-e -Taiba module and all these information is coming out,” Jalali told ANI.
“All these evidences will be given to Pakistan. Now, it depends on what they do. I think the forthcoming NSA meeting, which is scheduled on August 23 and 24, is going to be crucial because we are going to present these evidences before Pakistan. Secondly, the DGMO meetings will play a major role in this,” he added.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Syed Qazi Khalilullah had said that India should provide evidence of any Pakistani involved in terrorist activity on Indian soil, adding that they have constantly asked India to refrain from accusations.
However, the preliminary interrogation later revealed that the caught militant, Md. Naveed Yakub alias Usman, is a resident of Faislabad (Pakistan). (ANI)
