Hyderabad: With an aim to address the problems faced by Telangana people residing in Saudi Arabia, Telangana NRIs Welfare association was formed on the direction of Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. State General Secretary Minority Cell of the party Zahooruddin Yousufi convened a meeting of NRIs belonging to Telangana in Madina Munawwara.
Abdul Hameed was appointed Convenor of the association. Addressing the meeting Mr. Zahooruddin Yousufi told that Telangana government is mulling over construction of special colonies in Hyderabad for Non resident Indians and arrangement for education of their children. He added that government will help the persons returning to the country from foreign countries in every possible way.
Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan has been appointed president of the association, while Mohammed Sajid, Mohammed Abdul Hameed and Hafez Mohammed Laeeq Ahmed have been appointed as Vice President, General Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
