Wooing the international investors, Telangana Information Technology Minister K Taraka Ramarao today asserted that Hyderabad is a favourite destination for companies to explore and expand their businesses.
During his fourth day tour in the US, KTR addressed an “IT Serve Alliance” conference of 150 companies and then in Vibrant Hyderabad program. Interestingly, those attended the Conference announced donations of 2 lakh US dollars for the prestigious programs of Water Grid and Mission Kakatiya taken up by Telangana Government.
IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan made a presentation on the flagship programs and Hyderabad a unique place for investments as there will be no power cuts in Telangana State.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR thanked the donors and said the Telangana government would become power surplus State in two years as focus was on to generate power four times more than it needed. He said Hyderabad is noted for IT, Aerospace, health, pharma, education domains and manufacturing companies. The minister urged the companies to come forward with investments in Hyderabad and other districts of in Telangana. KTR tried to portray the best facilities and the yet to be launched best industrial policy in the country with abundant land bank of 1.50 lakh acres for the disposal of the industries. “Industrialists and businessmen should come forward with investments to take part in the efforts to make the fledgling State into a golden Telangana”, he added.
