NRC process will soon begin in UP: BJP MLA

Lucknow: Despite the NRC project being a complete failure in Assam, BJP leaders still want to implement it across the country. If the key leader of the ruling BJP, Satya Prakash Agarwal, is to be believed, NRC could be implemented in Uttar Pradesh from the last week of the current month or the first week of October.

Speaking to a news channel Satya Prakash Agarwal who had recently written a letter to BJP president Amit Shah demanding NRC in Uttar Pradesh told that NRC is badly needed in UP as a large number of illegal Bangladeshis are present in the state. He claimed that there are nearly 1.25 lakh Bangladeshi intruders in Meerut alone, who have prepared all necessary documents.

Agarwal alleged that the previous governments for their vote bank not only let them survive in the state but issued all the documents to them, as a result, they get all government facilities depriving the deserving persons. Agarwal went on to allege that they are involved in criminal activities.

Satya Prakash Agarwal is the MLA from Meerut. He told that Bangladeshi immigrants living illegally in Uttar Pradesh have disturbed the social equation.
