The Hyderabad Traffic Police on Sunday reiterated that the cashless enforcement against traffic violations on the field has been introduced on trial basis. Therefore, the Traffic Police personnel will not collect any fine amounts on the field.
Now all the post offices in Hyderabad will also accept the payments of pending traffic challans from the people. In addition, payments are possible through Net Banking. People can visit the website www.htp.gov.in and click challan status or www.echallan.org enter their vehicle Registration Number, if any challans are pending they can go through and click Net Banking icon and pay the challans through Debit/Credit cards and Net Banking in the easy and simple procedure for both the commissionerate i.e. Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has also developed the Android mobile application for easy payment gateway for paying the challans. Users can download the Android APK “E-Challan Telangana” through “Play Store”.
Earlier system to pay fine amounts at e-Seva/Mee Seva, AP Online Centers Debit/Credit card facility through “State Bank of Hyderabad” and “ICICI Bank” and “Andhra Bank”, Traffic Compounding Booth, Traffic Complex, Opp: Public Garden, Nampally. Hyderabad is continuing.
