A large number of patients thronged Fever Hospital today as they fell ill following heavy rains in the city for the last one week.
It was common for the hospital that the patients from 500 to 1000 would visit every day but these days the number doubled due to heavy rains. The work load increased to the hospital staff as 2000 patients visited the hospital on Monday. The hospital staff has extended the out-patient timings up to 4pm. The patients were falling unconscious as they were not in a position to stand in huge lines. (NSS)
