Now, stylish and wearable ‘Lumo Lift’ will give better posture

A Palo Alto-based company has developed a small and stylish device that will sit unobtrusively on the user’s collar or shoulder to enhance his or her posture.

According to Tech Crunch, Lumo BodyTech’s co-founder and CEO Monisha Perkash admitted, however, that their new product Lumo Lift works like their old product, Lumo Back, to straighten the entire skeletal system.

But, the new Lift, which gives a small buzz if your spine curves, can also track and detect movement, and physical activity including steps and calories.

Perkash said that the ability to detect and analyze core body positioning is unique to the Lumo Lift, however, its algorithm and software for discerning that information is the key ingredient to the firm’s long-term prospects for success.

The company is expected to start shipping the device, which will cost around 59 to 79 dollars, in late spring 2014. (ANI)
