Now KCR govt launches driver Employment Program for Minorities

Hyderabad: The State government will launch “Driver Employment Program” on June 11 at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium to empower the SC, ST, BC and Minority drivers in collaboration with Maruthi motors, Uber cab service provider, SBI and departments concerned.

According to a press note here today, M.A. Waheed, VC & Managing Director of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation said during 2017-18, the TSMFC distributed 67 Maruthi Swift Dzire Tour S vehicles. Minister for Welfare Koppula Eshwar will be the Chief Guest. Syed Akbar Hussain, Chairman, TSMFC will preside.
The State government has sanctioned 500 Maruthi Swift Dzire tour S vehicles for the benefit of Minority Drivers in all the districts. Out of which, 472 Minority drivers have been shortlisted. In the first phase, the corporation had distributed 342 vehicles on September 4, 2018, for minority drivers.
