Controversial BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj who has a history of issuing provocative statements on Wednesday, once again sparks a controversy saying “We can win over death by yoga and “yoga is not communal, it is good for the health, he further added”.
The Unnao MP said that people who are criticizing Modi’s yoga are doing so because they have failed to find any fault in Modi’s regime and that Muslims have also believing in the Prime Minister.
“All are left with nothing against Modiji that’s the reason he is being criticized. Muslims have started believing that he is developing the nation,” Maharaj said.
Maharaj’s statement comes just a day after another BJP firebrand leader Yogi Adityanath’s remark that all those opposed to the Surya Namaskar at the PM’s yoga event should leave India and have no right to use the sunlight.
“Those who do not want Yoga should leave India’s land. They have no right to use the sunlight anymore,” Adiyanath said at an event in Gorakhpur, his Lok Sabha constituency.
