New Delhi [India]: Fast food chain McDonald has introduced new breakfast menu of ‘ Masala Dosa Burger’ and scrambled eggs, an amalgamation of fast food and South Indian food.
The new menu has been released only for Mumbai as off now.
The Mac Dosa burger will be available in Macbreakfast between 7am to 11 am at McD outlets.
As of Now, Mac dosa is only available in Mumbai and in coming months, after the response, it would be launched in other parts of India as well.
“We are excited to launch the first ever branded breakfast category in the country with Mumbai being the first region for rollout,” said Mr. Ranjith Paliath, vice president – Business Operations of McDonald’s India in West and South.
“The new Breakfast menu will be power packed with vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and minerals and will be all grilled (except Hashbrown Brioche) which is specially made to suit the Indian taste buds. This category has the potential to create a distinct and loyal set of customers with our local flavour in a glocal format, while inspiring them to adopt a healthier lifestyle,” Paliath added.
Along with Mac dosa, McDonalds has also introduced scrambled (bhurji) eggs in breakfast, it’s another Indian dish mostly available at roadside stalls of Mumbai and other cities. (ANI)
