New Delhi: Censor Board of India has lifted ban on films with adult certification. The decision was taking following the repeated demands from the film industry and broadcasters.
Pahlaj Nihalani, Central Board of Film Certification Chairperson said that they have asked producers whose film got ‘A’ certificate to cuts scenes from the film which does not suite home viewing.
It is to be noted that since January 2015, Nihalani had put a restriction on A certificate films from broadcasting on TV but now it can be broadcast with voluntary cuts.
