On credible information Panjagutta Police arrested a notorious Robbers namely (A1) Mohd. Abdul Ishtiyak Ali @ M.A. Ishtiyak @ Ali (26) a car driver R/o Sairamnagar of Yousufguda (A2) Putta Ramu @ Charan @ Bunny @ Ramu (25) a car driver and (A3) M Nagaraju (34) both are resident of Singotam village of Mahaboobnagar Dist and seized the Robbed cash Rs. 7, 95,000 lakhs from them pertains to U/Sec. 392 IPC of Panjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad.
On April 22, 2014 on receipt of a complaint from one Yesubabu of Moosapet, Police, Panjagutta registered a case against the unknown culprits, since the accused persons laid a trap while the complainant was taking cash of Rs.25 Lakhs in a Maruthi Swift car and when the complainant was passing Yellareddyguda, the accused committed the offence and robbed of Rs.10,90,000 lakh.
After registering a case, Police have formed special teams to detect the case. During investigation Police have examined number of persons and on receipt of credible information, today Police Panjagutta have arrested the above three accused persons and seized net cash of Rs.7,95,000/- from them. Another accused M.A.Zainuddin of Wanaparthy of Mahaboobnagar is still absconding. Efforts are on to nab him.
The accused M.A. Ishtiyaq Ali has been working as a car driver at Rithwik construction Pvt Ltd for the past 6 months. Earlier Ishtiyaq Ali was involved in a 4 wheeler theft case under the limits of P.S.Jubilee Hills along with A3 Putta Ramu of Singotam village in the year 2003.
A3 Putta Ramu was earlier involved in Robbery, Dacoity and Kidnap cases in Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda Districts and he also attacked on Police in the year 2008 when a traffic Police tried to stop him at Banjara Hills.
Both have come into contact with one B. Nagaraj, Home Guard of P.S. Koderu of Mahaboobnagar Dist and hatched a plan to rob money along with A1’s brother in law namely M.A. Zainuddin in the name of Police checking, since many Police teams have been organizing checkings on the roads in view of elections 2014.
On April 21, 2014 A1 M.A. Ishtiyak Ali has provided information to the other accused as they were carrying huge cash and he also gave car number and route to them. While the complainant was carrying cash, all the accused stopped them in the name of Task Force Police and robbed the cash of Rs.10,90,000 and distributed the booty among them.
Acting on a tip off, Police Panjagutta arrested the above three accused and seized the cash of Rs.7.95 Lakhs. Another accused Zainuddin is absconding.
The case has been investigated by Detective Inspector K. Venkateswar Reddy Panjagutta PS with his crime staff under the direct supervision of P.V.R.S.S.S.M.V. Ravi Varma, ACP, Panjagutta division Hyderabad and recovered the stolen cash. An appeal to the General public, if any one stop in Police uniform or in mufty dress, ask them to show proper identity, call 100 or Police Station No. 27852019, 27852494 then only allow to check to avoid major loss.
