Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy on Thursday informed that notifications would be issued soon for recruitment of home guards and police constables keeping in mind the need for adequate force to maintain law and order.
Speaking to the media here, Narasimha Reddy said the DGP and Hyderabad City Police Commissioner would visit foreign countries and study the police system being implemented there. An effective policing system would be developed for the City, he added. The Home Minister said after Ramzan festival, police officials would go on study tour to England and New York. The government would not compromise on the protection of law and order in Hyderabad city. Some 2,000 CC cameras would be set up at various places across the city like in London, he added.
The Home Minister made it clear that there was no question of taking back the move on change of uniform of the police personnel. The suggestions of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao would be implemented in to to. (NSS)
