Hyderabad: AK Khan, Adviser, Minority Welfare announced that notification for recruitment of 66 Urdu officers in Minority Welfare Department will be issued within 2 weeks. Recruitment process will be completed within 3 months, he added. He was accompanied by Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor during the press conference. He informed that Urdu academy has been appointed as the nodal agency for the recruitment process and the exams will be held in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
Mr Khan refuted reports about Urdu being neglected in TMREIS and other government schools.
