Waqf Board has slapped notices against 85 encroachers of Masjid Nana Bagh Waqf land. These notices were handed over to them through 6 special teams.
Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah took special interest in preservation of land and issued notices on the basis of the record present in Waqf Board. Several commercial institutions and apartments have been constructed on the 5 acre 7 guntas Waqf land. As per the record present in Waqf Board, the land was endowed in 1925. Two gazettes were found in Waqf Board regarding the land.
Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah told that the notices were issued under section 54(1) of Waqf Act.
